Definitely one of the best ice cream places on the Cape. If you like hot fudge sundaes, I personally don't think you'll find better. My friend came to visit and said he had the best banana split he's ever had. My wife is a regular:( .My friends banana split. They make home made whipped cream. They only thing you might encounter. On a busy night ,depending on the server, it may be smaller than usual. Its on the higher end for price. So, you deserve to get the full portion. Smitty himself is a great guy and down to earth. We have been going there since the day it opened. So, my wife loving ice cream, thats a statement in itself. Her favorite place on the Cape for ice cream.

We had quite the selection today! Most of their flavors are available but they are not fully ready with all flavors. We were all happy with our ice cream cones, ice cream sundaes and root beer floats. Yummy! Mine could have been a little bit fresher. It felt a little bit stale/icy. But it certainly hit the spot. THIS IS CASH ONLY This i place is right at the rotary. Easy to find if you're looking out for it but it gets very busy here on the cape. BEST COOKIE DOUGH! If you like your cookie dough ice cream with a ton of cookie dough pieces this is the place to go!!! They also have homemade waffle cones !

We wanted to try their blueberry ice cream but they didn't have any that day so got an orange pineapple scoop instead. Just loved it. Felt very natural and homemade. Their store is also very cute, with benches to sit outside.

Excellent service and great choice of flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed Smitty’s. It’s pretty much the most Cape Coddy thing I did last weekend. Summer nights and ice cream shacks down the cape make great memories and in that sense, Smitty’s definitely delivers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The tables were clean and plentiful. The ice cream was delicious!

Friendly staff and great ice cream with lots of options -- even vegan ice cream! Lovely little shady, quiet sitting area. You wouldn't know you're right on the rotary.

Delicious! The line may look long on a Saturday night in the summer, but it moves quickly! They have tons of flavors both ice cream, frozen yogurt, and all the fixings!

Our daughter was having a bad day. She is autistic and non verbal. We pulled into Smittys at 11:30am and I walked up to see if they were open, not knowing they don’t open until 1pm. There were people there preparing to open for the day and they welcomed me. I asked if they were open and mentioned my daughter was having a rough day and we were trying to cheer her up with an ice cream. Who I assume was the owner, asked me what she would like. A small vanilla soft serve in a dish with sprinkles was whipped up in no time. I asked how much and he graciously said there was no charge. Smittys is just around the corner and we have only been a handful of times years ago. Smittys is now #1 on our list for ice cream. Our daughter and us are forever grateful for the kind gesture from Smitty’s.
